Power House Kids Camp

We’re taking our kids on a 3-day holiday packed with fun and adventure again in August at Frylands Wood Scout Centre! It’s for Power House Kids who are currently in school years 3-6. Lots of Power House Leaders and some of our Next Generation Youth will be there as helpers.

Assault Course, Pioneering, Night Walk, Camping, Orienteering/Geo Quest and The Great Big Water Fight are just a few of the activities on offer, as well as the usual team games and crafts and of course some free time too! There will also be a barbecue and a campfire. Amidst all the fun and games children learn how to put God first in their lives, through small group quiet times, lively praise and worship and exciting teaching slots! There is an on-site Tuck Shop for the children to buy snacks.

There will be a Day Camp on Tuesday 13 August open to all children in Years 2-6.

We want to offer Power House kids new challenges and opportunities, memorable activities, friendship and genuinely life-changing experiences. There’s something special about being away on holiday together. It creates a sense of community and discovery. This will give everyone time to discover more about the Christian faith, to worship God and find out more about Him through large group activities, music and small group discussions.

Frylands Wood Scout Outdoor Centre is not far away, it’s on Featherbed Lane, Croydon CR0 9AA. Accommodation will be in twin/triple rooms and one six bed dormitory. The last four camps we took a few tents and the boys and girls took it in turns and thoroughly enjoyed camping out, one of the nights.

COST

The includes accommodation, food and all activities.

Residential: Monday 12th – Wednesday 14th August 2024
For kids in Years 3-6
Cost: £75 or £60 for each additional sibling
e.g. family of 3: £75 + £60 + £60 = £195

Day Camp Tuesday 13th August
For kids in years 2-6
Day Camp: £30 or £25 for each additional sibling
eg. family of 3: £30 + £25 + £25 = £80

Payable in FULL by 1st July 2024. To secure a place the deposit (£20 per child) must be paid by 26th May 2024.

Full balance will need to be paid before your child attends.
