Welcome to Lifelines Online, our weekly guide to everything that’s happening at New Life in this lockdown season.
Update on the journey out of lockdown
Last Sunday a group of six of our New Life family met up together in a local park to watch our online service together. They really enjoyed being able to see one another! We are using their experience to help us to see how we can encourage and help other smaller groups to meet safely and legally outdoors. We were also able to hold a small group for young people in a local park this week. As we mentioned last week, we are working hard as we make this complicated journey out of lockdown. In the coming weeks we will begin to use the Centre for some of our Connect Groups, small meetings and prayer meetings, so please listen out for details. We are actively working towards being able to eventually gather again at the Centre on a Sunday, but for now we will be continuing to meet online at 10am.
Please continue to pray for wisdom as we continue our journey out of lockdown.
This Sunday
Join us this Sunday at 10am on YouTube for our Sunday morning service. We’re delighted to have Nathanael Edwards speaking this Sunday. Nathanael grew up at New Life and is now part of the leadership team at Life Community Church in Storrington, West Sussex. He also heads up the Life Support Charity, one of the missions projects supported by New Life. Immediately after the service there will be an opportunity to catch up with one another on Zoom. Check your email or our facebook group for details.
Midweek Devotional
Next Wednesday, David Lilley will be sharing a word of encouragement entitled ‘Achsah – The Power of Holy Desire’. You can watch it on our website or on our Facebook group from 6pm on Wednesday.
