Mariah’s Story
During that week (from about Wednesday) I had been experiencing severe stomach pain. It was very uncomfortable every time I moved. I couldn’t even breathe out properly. Saturday came and I was still in pain. I even went to sleep early. I woke up for church on Sunday and got ready. I was still in pain!
When my family and I got to church I joined in with the worship which was amazing! John Edwards was preaching. His sermon made reference to “… by HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED”. He said that we should all repeat it! And when we repeat it we should mean it and if we are in pain to touch that area and say it. I put my hand on my stomach breathed out and said “By HIS Stripes I AM HEALED”
Immediately! That pain I was feeling left. It was within seconds! I could breathe out properly without being in any pain. I was so shocked I didn’t even believe it! I even stood up for a bit to see if the pain had actually gone! It has now been 2 weeks and my stomach pain is completely gone!
Agnes’ Story
I wanted to testify of God’s grace and mercy over my life and his healing power. On the 22nd February 2021, I noticed that I had developed a swelling/lump in my left armpit. This was two days after my covid vaccination. I initially thought that it was a normal reaction to getting the vaccine and it would go after a few days. This did not happen. The swelling/lump continued to get bigger until it got to a size of a tennis ball. It was very uncomfortable and caused me a lot of pain in the armpit radiating to my left breast and sometimes to my left shoulder and left arm.
I was assessed by my GP on three occasions. The first two times were 3 months apart. It was hoped that the lump would have disappeared by then or may be reduced in size. This was not the case. I was treated with antibiotics with no effect.
Three weeks ago I had my 3rd GP visit because my symptoms were getting worse. It was decided that I go for further investigations and was referred to Princess Royal University Hospital on a two-week wait referral. An appointment was given to me for Monday 18th October 2021 to see the specialist consultant.
During the last 8 months, I continuously sought God’s face for divine intervention and healing even though it seemed like things were worsening. On Sunday 10th October 2021, I attended church and Elder John Edwards preached about the Power of the blood of Jesus, by his stripes we are healed and the need to take our places as children of God and claim our healing by faith. I had been hearing this same message that whole week from different preachers and I immediately knew God was speaking to me to increase my faith. John emphasised speaking to the situations we are facing and rebuking the enemy ( spirit of infirmity) and casting it out of our bodies. He gave examples. I grasped this in my spirit. He made an altar call for people needing prayers for healing. I went forward for prayer, God’s presence was very strong at the front. I got prayed for by one of the elders ( Mark Rossell).
The following Sunday ( 17th October), I got prayed for by another elder and his wife. That week was very tough especially the night before the appointment, the pain was worse than ever. I continued to declare healing by his stripes and to rebuke the spirit of infirmity and to command the swelling to subside and infirmity to leave my body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The morning of the appointment, I realised that the swelling had disappeared. I attended my hospital appointment, got physically checked, had a mammogram, had an ultrasound scan of my armpit and there was no evidence of the lump/swelling. Everything was normal.
Praise God for his divine intervention and healing.
