Welcome to Lifelines Online, our weekly guide to everything that’s happening at New Life in this lockdown season.
Our Journey out of Lockdown
In the next stage of our journey out of lockdown, from next Sunday 2nd August, we’re going to begin inviting small numbers of people to come to the centre on a Sunday morning at 10am, to watch our online service together on the big screen.
There will be strict social distancing guidelines in operation and you won’t be able to join in the singing, so it won’t have the feel of a normal Sunday at New Life. However, those there will get the chance to see one another, which we know some of you are wanting to do. As numbers will be very limited, we will initially be prioritising inviting those who have not been able to access our online services and those living on their own.
Please don’t come to the centre unless you have received a specific invitation.
A number of small groups are continuing to meet up in a local park to listen to the service together on a Sunday, and a number of our Connect Groups are beginning to meet up in parks and at the Centre. Please look out for more details and continue to pray for God’s wisdom as we journey out of lockdown.
This Sunday
Join us this Sunday at 10am on YouTube for our Sunday morning service. Chris James, who is one of our elders will be speaking. Immediately after the service there will be an opportunity to catch up with one another on Zoom.
Midweek Devotional
Next Wednesday, David Lilley will be sharing a word of encouragement entitled ‘Moses – Curiosity Opens the Door of Destiny’. You can watch this on our ‘Church Online’ webpage or on our Facebook group from 6pm on Wednesday.
Alpha Online
A reminder that Our Alpha Online course starts on Tuesday 11 August.

Our youth leaders are now starting to organise small meet ups in Wandle Park for our young people. If you would like more information on these please contact Stephen Bryars.
