Welcome to Lifelines Online, our weekly update on everything that’s currently happening at New Life Croydon. This weekend we’re expecting an update from our government on how the country will begin to come out of the full ‘lockdown’. We will be listening carefully to what is said, and prayerfully considering how New Life moves forward as we move into this new phase of the coronavirus crisis. We will continue to keep everyone updated through Lifelines Online and through our website and social media platforms.
Join us this Sunday at 10am for our online service where Mark Rossell will be speaking. We will be sharing communion together during the service so please have some bread and wine (or juice!) ready to join in.
Like many UK employers, New Life has also been impacted by the coronavirus both financially, and in our ability to do all that our staff team were previously doing.
A number of New Life employees have now been placed on furlough for an initial period of 3 weeks. This has been done with their full agreement, and is not a reflection on them as individuals. It is likely, that in the coming weeks other staff members will also be placed on furlough. Those now on furlough are as follows:
Beverley Wellington – Cleaner
Jon Huggett – Facilities Assistant
Matthias Louis – Youth Intern
Jade Nolan – Youth Intern
David & Pauline Fellowes
We will keep you updated of any changes. Please continue to pray for the remaining staff team as they carry on the work of New Life in this challenging time.
‘The Marriage Sessions’
Care for the Family are running a free, 4-week marriage course starting on 11 May. For more info click below.
