Welcome to our latest edition of Lifelines Online!

At the beginning of March, just before the Coronavirus crisis we announced plans to move to having one Sunday morning service from Easter, so that we could come together as a church family. Things obviously haven’t turned out as we expected, with us now meeting online in our homes. However despite the many challenges the current situation is presenting to us as a church, there is a growing sense that in many ways we are becoming more connected as we reach out to one another and come together in new ways.

Our desire is that everyone who considers New Life Croydon to be their spiritual home will feel loved, cared for and increasingly connected as we move forward together. Please read below for two exciting new initiatives to help us stay connected as a church family!

Staying Connected

We‘re introducing a new initiative to help us all stay more connected with one another in this season.

Open House Online Connect Groups:  We know that many of you are now meeting online with your Connect Group. However, we do know that there are people who aren’t part of a Connect Group and others, who would welcome the opportunity to meet up midweek on Zoom with others from their New Life family, just to catch up, enjoy fellowship and pray together. If you would like to be a part of one of these new Open House Online Connect Groups please contact us here and we will send you more details.

This Sunday

Join us this Sunday morning at 10am for our live online service where Christian Sana will be speaking. Christian helps co-ordinate our Connect Groups and also leads worship at New Life.

Online Activities

Our Sunday services take place on YouTube and most of our other meetings and activities take place on Zoom. If you would like to join one of these meetings, please visit the ‘church online’ page of our website where you can find details of each leader to contact.

Thank you for your continuing generosity in these challenging times and especially thank  you to all those who have begun to give online or by bank transfer. This is so helpful in this season, when we cannot take up offerings in our services. Remember you can give in three main ways.

1) Give via your bank:

Set up a one-off or regular payment using online or telephone banking using our account details:

Account Name: NLCC Croydon
Account Number: 50810428
Sort Code: 08-90-79
Bank: Co-op
Reference: Please state the purpose of your gift, preceded by your gift aid number if you have one.

Give on our website using the button below.

3) Give by text
Text the word ‘Give’ to ‭0161 850 8760 and follow the instructions.

We are trying to limit the need for our staff to visit the centre and bank, so wherever possible please avoid sending us cheques.

Jennie in the finance office is available on 020 8680 7671 ext 321, to help with any questions or difficulties you may be having in giving your offering. NB She can give advice for those needing help with telephone banking.
