Welcome to Lifelines Online, our weekly guide to everything that’s happening at New Life in this lockdown season.

This Sunday

Join us this Sunday at 10am on YouTube for our online service. We’re delighted to have Christian Sana sharing God’s word with us. We’re also going to be sharing communion together so please have your bread and wine (or juice!) ready.

Midweek Devotional

On Wednesday David Lilley brought us a short word on Dorcas and the power of compassion, so if you missed it be sure to catch up. Watch all of our Midweek Devotions on our website or in our facebook group, available form 6pm every Wednesday.

Evangelistic Service – 21st June

We’ve got our old friend Mark Ritchie sharing with us a week on Sunday, so we’re encouraging you to invite your friends and family, who perhaps aren’t believers, to tune in. Mark is known for passionate delivering the true message of Jesus with clarity, relevance and humour, so along with our worship team leading us in song, we believe that God will draw people to himself through this evangelistic online service. Share the link to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/newlifecroydon

Listen to New Life’s services by phone

If you have family or friends with no internet access, they can now listen to our latest online service, midweek devotion and a selection of our worship songs by phone. The number to ring is below and calls are charged at the standard local rate. Sunday’s online services will usually be available on the next day (they are not available live), and it’s our prayer that those who aren’t online will now feel that little bit more connected with church life.

Pastoral Care

Our pastoral team are in the process of directly contacting every family and individual connected with New Life. If you haven’t heard from us yet and would welcome the opportunity of speaking with one of our pastoral team please contact Kofi Sunu.

We also recognise that some of our church family have been impacted by the recent events and conversation around racism and injustice. If you would like to talk and pray with a leader please contact Mark Rossell.

Please also continue to contact us with your prayer requests and testimonies.

Healing in the Church – 27 June

We will be looking at ‘How to receive strength for our mental & emotional well being during lockdown’. There will be time to share in small groups and pray for one another. If you know someone in ill health from Covid 19 or other illnesses please join us so we can pray for them. Alternatively send their name to kofi.sunu@newlifecroydon.co.uk

RightNow Media

Everyone who is part of our New Life family has exclusive access to RightNow Media, a huge online library of faith based videos. There’s lots of great content for children as well as Bible studies and resources for small groups which you view via the RightNow app or online. To find out more and get access, click below.

Thanks for your continuing generosity in this challenging season. We would particularly encourage UK taxpayers to sign up to Gift Aid which increases your gift by at least 25%.

For information on giving and gift aid, or to give online please click below.

Media Team – Volunteers Needed

We’re looking to expand our Media Team with volunteers who can help us with video editing and production. You would need an eye for video, a reliable laptop, and to be able to use advanced video editing software. You don’t necessarily need experience, but you would need to be able to grasp the basics of making professional looking videos which would enhance New Life’s Sunday services and online presence.

If interested, please contact James Beatt.
